Residential IT Support Packages for London Homes
A monthly support plan is for households that want small IT problems handled before they become stressful: slow laptops, scam pop-ups, updates, backups, printer issues and remote support when something stops working. We keep the plans practical, with clear limits and priority help when you need a visit.
Best for
Households needing plain-English help with Wi-Fi, computers, email, printers, backup and online safety.
Pricing
Plans from £15/month · Setup and on-site work quoted clearly
Response
Remote support for software issues, home visits for hardware, Wi-Fi and setup jobs.
Coverage
London, Berkshire and Surrey for home visits.
This is prevention and trusted help, not an unlimited emergency contract.
The plans are designed for regular home users who want a known engineer, safer devices and clear support. Hardware repairs, data recovery, major projects and long on-site visits are quoted separately before work starts.
- Remote allowance included by plan
- Priority scheduling for visits
- No surprise repair charges
- Clear scope before signup
Why people book this
Home IT support should be patient, practical and jargon-free.
Verge Tech helps households with the technology that interrupts daily life: weak Wi-Fi, printers, slow laptops, email problems, virus warnings, data recovery, smart devices and new device setup. The work is explained clearly and paced properly.
Small problems keep returning
Printers, updates, browser warnings and email issues often need small regular fixes rather than a rushed call-out every few months.
Scam and security worries
We check the basics that protect everyday users: updates, antivirus, browser settings, MFA, passwords and suspicious pop-up behaviour.
Photos and files are not backed up
A support plan gives backup setup and checks so a failed drive is less likely to become a family crisis.
What's included
Everything covered, in plain English.
A clear scope of work so there are no surprises after we arrive. Anything outside this list gets quoted before we start.
How it works
A clear route from problem to fix.

Service detail
Friendly help without rushing the customer.
Home support is part technical work and part communication. We explain what changed, leave notes and make sure the household can carry on after the visit.
Wi-Fi, printers and devices
We fix weak Wi-Fi, offline printers, new laptops, smart devices and email issues across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
Safe, patient support
Older adults and less confident users get clear explanations without pressure, jargon or rushed handover.
Security and backup basics
We help with scam warnings, antivirus, browser pop-ups, password hygiene, account recovery and backup checks.
Who this is for
Built for real users.
If you recognise yourself in any of these, we've done the work before.
Plans
Simple monthly support with clear boundaries.
These packages work best after an initial health check, because every home has a different mix of laptops, phones, tablets, printers, Wi-Fi and cloud accounts.
Verge Home Basic (£15/mo)
For one main computer. Includes update, antivirus and browser-safety checks, plus discounted priority booking for visits.
Verge Home Plus (£29/mo)
For up to three household devices. Adds backup checks and a monthly remote support allowance for small fixes.
Senior Support Add-on (+£10/mo)
Adds scheduled check-ins for email, video calls, updates, printer questions and scam-warning reassurance.
Fair use
What is included, and what is quoted separately.
Clear boundaries make the plan sustainable and stop confusion when a small support request becomes a repair job.
Included
Small remote fixes, account guidance, security checks, update checks, backup checks and plain-English advice within your plan allowance.
Quoted separately
Hardware repairs, parts, data recovery, malware clean-up after an infection, large migrations and long on-site visits.
Privacy
Remote support is only started with your permission. We do not browse personal files unless it is necessary for the support task and agreed first.
Best fit
Families, remote workers and older adults who want a trusted support contact instead of searching for a new technician every time.
FAQs
Questions people ask before booking.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. The home support plans are designed as rolling monthly support. We confirm the scope, devices and cancellation terms before the plan starts.
Is on-site support included?
Priority scheduling is included, but on-site visit time is usually quoted separately unless your plan agreement says otherwise. That keeps the monthly price fair for households that mainly need remote help.
What counts as remote support?
Remote support covers small fixes such as email issues, software questions, browser warnings, update checks, backup checks, printer troubleshooting and account guidance where remote access is suitable.
How many devices are covered?
The Basic plan is for one main computer. The Plus plan is for up to three household devices. Larger homes can be quoted after a device count and health check.
Can you monitor my device without seeing my files?
Security and health checks do not require browsing personal files. Any remote session starts with your permission and we only access what is needed for the task.
Does this cover business computers?
It can help an individual remote worker with a home device, but business-owned devices, teams, Microsoft 365 admin, compliance and multi-user support belong under business IT support or managed services.
