Will you have access to my computer after the session ends?
No. Once the session is disconnected, we have no access to your system. The session code expires after use. If you want us to reconnect, you’ll need to generate a new code. You’re always in control.
How long does remote support usually take?
Most common issues are resolved in 15–30 minutes. Complex problems might take longer, but we’ll let you know upfront if we need more time. You pay only for the time spent.
Is remote support as good as an on-site visit?
For 80% of issues, yes, often better, because we resolve problems faster without travel time. For hardware issues (e.g., hard drive replacement, physical repairs), we’ll recommend an on-site engineer visit and can either perform the work ourselves or refer you to a trusted partner. We’re honest about what can be done remotely versus what requires hands-on work.
Can you fix viruses and malware?
Yes. We scan for threats, remove malware, and patch vulnerabilities. We’ll also advise on preventing future infections (antivirus software, backup strategies, security updates). One-time removal typically costs £75–150, depending on severity.
How quickly will you respond if I contact you?
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 business hours during working hours. For urgent issues (business downtime, security threats), contact us immediately, and we’ll prioritise your case.
Do you support Macs?
Yes, we provide remote support for both Windows PCs and Apple Macs (MacBooks, iMacs, Mac Minis).
Do you provide ongoing IT support or just one-off fixes?
Both. We offer one-off diagnostic and repair services, or ongoing managed IT support with proactive monitoring, regular updates, and priority response times. Ask us about managed service plans if you’d prefer predictable, monthly IT support.
Can you help outside business hours?
We offer appointments during standard business hours. For urgent out-of-hours support, please call us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
